Holistic Fitness at ZenSpot is a series of fitness support structures offered to enhance the growth and development of the multidimensional client. Personal fitness is more then muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance but also includes the mind and spirit in addition to the body. Nurturing the mind-body-spirit connection is extremely important and is what enables all individuals to become authentically healthy from the inside out!

ZenSpot Women’s Fitness Bootcamp is a four-week, 1-hour per day, three day per week program of fitness instruction, lifestyle education and team motivation. Sessions meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00-7:00 am. Each 1-hour session includes: calisthenics, obstacles courses, short distance running/walking (up to 1 mile per session), resistance training, agility and partner drills, pilates/abdominal work, yoga and much more. This is a program that emphasizes a lifestyle that is positive, fun and powerful!
ZenSpot Women’s Fitness Bootcamp-Hot Yoga Combo Special ZenSpot Women’s Fitness Bootcamp offers a Bootcamp-Hot Yoga Combo Package. This offer is available to all women interested in getting in shape from the inside out and the outside in. The package includes: • Four weeks of Women’s Fitness Bootcamp as per the regular Bootcamp schedule. • Unlimited Hot Yoga classes during the same month of participation in Bootcamp. ZenSpot Women’s Fitness Bootcamp recognizes each woman at her current fitness level. No one will be left behind and no one will be asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Regardless of your fitness level or ability you will be able to participate. You will be assisted in your fitness journey. What do I wear? It is important to wear exercise clothing that is weather appropriate. It is recommended that you wear exercise shorts or pants that are comfortable and wick sweat, jog bras, tee-shirts, tank-tops or sweat shirts as well as running shoes that are in good condition- please do not wear soft-sole/unsupported shoes. What do I bring? Every woman is required to bring a water bottle, towel, yoga mat and a set of dumbbells- most women use dumbbells that are 3-9 pounds in weight. Each item can be purchased at most retail fitness stores. Should I eat before I come? Eating a small snack is favorable to a large breakfast. You want to have enough energy so you do not feel sluggish. However, do not overeat so you do not feel ill during exercise. When is Bootcamp so I can sign up immediately? Each kamp session will be conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00-7:00am (Yes, that’s AM!). Bootcamp meets rain or shine unless it is torrential rain. On torrential rain days make-up classes are provided. Each kamp is four weeks in length beginning. Each participant is expected to be on time and parking is available at each location. What is the investment in myself? Each four-week kamp has a registration fee of $159.00. If the participant chooses the Bootcamp-Hot Yoga Package the registration fee is $199.00. Understanding that each client is unique physically, emotionally and spiritually, each 1-hour training session is designed to meet the individual needs and goals of the client through endurance, strength, flexibility and mind-body awareness exercises including breathing and focus meditation.
What can I expect?You should expect a holistic approach (meaning care for the whole person- mind, body and spirit) to your fitness plan that begins with a pre-session assessment of your current fitness level, discussion about your personal fitness goals and a comprehensive plan to help you achieve them. After training has begun there will be periodic assessments completed in order to track your progress and allow time for reflection. Where does the personal training take place? Each client can choose to have personal training take place at ZenSpot Eugene, OR, in the client’s home or at a fitness facility specified by the client. Do I need equipment? If you choose to have your personal training take place at ZenSpot Eugene, no equipment is required. If training takes place in your own home you will need your own yoga mat and a set of dumbbells. If you choose to have your session take place at a fitness facility no equipment is needed. However, permission from the facility is required in advance by the client. How long is each session? Each session is 60 minutes in length. How often should I workout with a holistic trainer? It all depends on what best fits your goals and needs. After your first session your holistic trainer will be able to assess and recommend what is right for you. In general most clients work with a trainer 1-3 times per week.
